Letters to Juliet

Would you forget someone you fell in love with after fifty years without knowing anything about him?

Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is engaged with Víctor (Gael Garcia Bernal). He is going to inaugurate a new Italian restaurant in NY. They both go for a trip to Verona, the city of lovers. In this city there’s the Cappello’s house, with the balcony, the courtyard and the statue of Juliet. Lots of people go to this house and leave letters to Juliet waiting for her reply. A group of ten women and a man are responsible for replying those letters. Sophie finally helps them. She discovers a letter wrote fifty years ago by Claire Smith (Vanessa Redgrave) searching Lorenzo Bartolini (Franco Nero), of who she fell in love when she was an adolescent. Sophie answers this letter with the hope of helping her. Claire with his grandson Charlie (Chris Egan) travel from London to Verona to search Lorenzo. Sophie is going to help them looking for his old lover trough La Toscana.

The film is lovely, and it transmits a lot of emotions to the spectators. There are a lot of romantic moments where everyone can feel excited. It’s easy to abandon the cinema crying. Although it’s a romantic film, there is suspense until the end too, where all is finally clear with a curious ending that makes the spectator feel satisfied for watching the movie.

If you’re looking for an action or for a comedy film, Letters for Juliet is not appropriated, but if you’re looking for a romantic one with a lot of love during the whole movie this one is perfect.

Letters for Juliet is in the best cinemas since October 8^th. It has duration of 105 minutes and it’s opened to all public. Tickets can be purchased through Servicaixa or at the cinema ticket office.

This is a fantasy film with a lot of romantic scenes based on the book written by Stephenie Meyer. It's a story about a girl called Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) that has to go to live with her father in Forks, a little village very cold and rainy all year. Here she meets Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and discovers that he is a vampire and all his family too. That's why he avoids her because he's truely in love with Bella and he's afraid to not control his thirst of blood that increases more and more when he's next to the girl. Little by little, he will be able to control this thirst and protect Bella from the other vampires and from Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), who has a special relation with her and on the other hand with Cullen family too.

That's a really interesting film because it's a saga and when you see the first movie you feel captivated. The movie is full of fantasy, action and feelings. With all of that, there are certain moments in which you would like to be some actors or actresses of the film.

The recommended age for seeing that movie is from thirteen years old and there's no age limit. Nowadays it's not in the cinemas but you can buy or rent it and if you want to see it in a big screen you can wait for the next movie of the saga and go to the marathon of Twilight Saga, where you can see all the movies from the first one.

A FRIEND, LIKE A SISTER

Yes, she’s like a sister. I can explain all the things to her, all the problems and I know she’ll help me and I’ll do the same if she needs my help. This is a very true history friendship, I love it because I think that in the life there is only one opportunity to find a sister and my sister's name is Marian.

Her name is Marian Català Barranco and she is my best friend. She’s 16 years old, and she is studying in Montessori-Palau, Girona. In this school I knew her. We met 3 years ago, when we were both thirteen.

She is very pretty, and she has long brown hair. Her eyes are very big and they are shining all the time and some days her color eyes change, it’s so funny. She is small in stature and I like her style clothes.

I admire her courage, sincerity and steem. We have a lot of fun together and she is a very reliable person. Always she is happy, I love her smile and her spontaneous decisions.

Now, we don’t see us very much because I change the school, the city… But we see us some weekends when I’m in Girona. I miss her a lot and I'll never forget a person like her, a friend like a sister.

My sister

Everybody has got one friend. When you need he is always with you. I'm talking about a best friend, a real best friend. Someone who is always helping you in the most difficult situations.

My best friend's name's Irene. She's 15. She's a very great person and she has got a big heart. She is not simply my best friend, for me she is a sister. I spend most of my time with her but when we don't have school.

She have big and brown eyes. Is shorter than me.
Irene always wear wide trousers and fight T-shirt but when we go to a party she wear fight clothing.
She love rap music.We are so different.

Irene is shy with the persons that She don't know and sometimes is edge.Is suspicious.
She's always there for me, and are have a lot of fun together.

I konow that Irene it's a Friend for a life long.
It's my sister.

AN IMPORTANT PERSON IN MY LIFE

Everybody has got an important person in his life: a friend, a relative…But for me, Dani is more than that. I’m talking about a romantic relationship. He is a student of SIL school, like me and we met 4 years ago when he arrived to this school.

He’s very handsome, with black hair and with brilliant and deep brown eyes that reflect a lot of his personality. He has got a very beautifull smile that makes me feel very good and very confortable when I’m with him. He has got great sense of fashion too. All the clothes look good when he’s wearing them.

But the most important thing is how he is. He’s one of the best persons I have ever met. He’s always or me, to help me with all the problems that I have, to stay next to me when I’m having a bad moment, to advise me if something is wrong or right…We also have a lot of fun together because he’s very funny. He gets me out a smile every time that I’m with him. He's a fantastic person.

I’m very proud for having a relashionship with him.If one day he’s not next to me, my life will be empty. But I know that he has always been in my heart and always will be there, for ever.

The meaning of friendship

Sometimes, people confuse partner or familiar people, with the real meaning of friend. Friends are the most important persons in our life, friends are there for everything, for watch your smile, and for make you smile when you are bad, for say the good or the bad things.

The most important friend, your true friend.
In my case his name is Héctor, he is 16, I meet him in the school when I was 3, at the begging I dont get on well with, but six years ago I begging realizing that he is the biggest person in the world, I usually meet him on fridays and some days afther school, also some weekends, and he spends some days in my house.

He is tall, has brown eyes and light brown hair, he always dress with jeans, wide trainers and shirts of many colors, I think he describes his personality with the outfit.

Héctor has and excellent personality, he is funny, good person, cute, sympathetic good adviser, and he is always there when you need it, but even he looks perfect, he has bad things too, for exmple he is sometimes heavy, because of this I call him Plastaa, but he also calls to me.

Since he change school is not the same, but we are always in contact, and he makes me feel so especial, and makes a smile on my face when I watch him. Héctor is so important in my life because he has show me the real meanning of friend, for all the things he has done, and for all he has said, for all the moments we have lived and all remaining things.
