Ninis or freaks: who's got the world in his hands?

Nowadays, the work among the youth is one of the biggest concerns of our society. Everyone can tell there’s a problem with unemployment and demotivation, however not so many people dare looking for the causes of it and searching for a solution.

To begin with, we could consider that the main cause lays on the new generation Nini, which would neither study, nor work. Leaving apart the unsustainability of this way of living, it’s also important to wonder if a person can really be satisfied with his/her life while doing nothing. Such a life may end up pretty tiring and boring. Nevertheless, the real problem lays on the demotivation of the youth: they simply can’t see the point of studying or working. Some consider it unnecessary, others are too lazy to try and the bright majority have no interest on it.

On the other hand, there’s a portion of the youth which most of the time lays forgotten or hidden: the fighters, the ones that haven’t given up. It’s not true that the whole youth nowadays is lost and has surrendered, that’s just what they want us to believe. Most probably this is the one thing that keeps us in this situation: if we think that everything is lost, no one is going to fight for a change.

In the end, it doesn’t really matter whether you’re considered a Nini, a freak or a surrendered, if you are able to believe in yourself and keep your faith in the change, believe me, the world is in your hands.
