Professional footballers earn too much money. What do you think?

Daily Mirror has recently announced that Manchester City could offer Cristiano Ronaldo more than 200.000.000 € to sign him up in their team. What could be done with this amount of money? It is obvious that too many charitable things such as donating money to non-governmental organizations, buying clothes, food and medicines for the Third World…

I consider a big lack of respect that, with the existing hunger and sick people around the world, somebody can accept to earn this huge amount of money for just playing football. Most of them haven’t work hard in their lives. They have only received the gift of having good skills playing soccer, and it is not fair that, for example, a student with a degree in the university had been studying for at least 17 years, working hard and with a lot of effort and sacrifice to earn only the money enough to survive. I find it extremely unfair.

However, I have to admit that between these players, there are some humble ones who do donate money to good proposals. An example is Iker Casillas who every year collaborates with an organization which fights against malaria. We don’t have to confuse these ones with others who only appear in these charities acts to advertise themselves and give a fake image about them. They should learn from humble football players and submit to this world some kind of humility, something unusual around the World.
